Powerups are items that can either be spawned on the battlefield when the battle begins or summoned by some units. They can appear in all battle modes and can be divided in two categories, depending on the frequence of their effect: Runes and Pentagrams.
Note that a Rune or a Pentagram cannot drop in a tile already occupied by another Powerup or a unit.
Runes are one-time (as opposed to Pentagrams) effects triggered when a unit is placed (deliberately or otherwise) in the square on the battlefield the rune resides in. The amount of the bonus stat is specified inside of each rune, next to the symbol.
They can be hosted either on ally or enemy's side, and this means they can either be supportive or deprecative type respectively.
When they are casted they may interferee with certain Summon-oriented skills (like in Shadow Shaa-Moona case), and only known methods to remove them are to make a unit use them or to play units with Destroy Powerups skill.
|Health||Boosts HP of a unit||Ally|

Pentagrams are permanent effects, triggered at every Start of Turn: each time a new turn starts, the unit placed upon them can recieve a boost in its stats. They are of three types: HP, ATK and Spikes. The amount of the bonus stat is specified inside of each pentagram, next to the symbol.
Currently all Pentagrams are hosted on ally side, meaning they are all supportive type.
|HP Pentagram||ATK Pentagram||Spikes Pentagram|
|Health Boost||Attack Boost||Spikes|
Apart for being already present on the field when the match starts, a certain number of units can cast either Runes or Pentagrams during the game, when certain conditions are met.
