Guild

Guild unlocks after reaching league 24.

Being in a guild allows you to participate in Turf War. Using troops gives gold to players as per the amount used. Turf War rewards players with gold, cards and Contribution points. Contribution points can be then used to activate powerful guild bonuses. You also get daily Elixir and Contribution rewards in your Inbox when you are in a guild.

Joining and leaving a Guild

In case of players who joined a Guild, when pressing the correspective building, they'll see Guild Chat.

If they didn't, a screen such as this will appear:

From here, a few actions are possible:

  • Find: allows to search for a specific Guild given its name (or a part of the name)
  • Join: here are listed all the Guilds that sent an invite to the player along with suggestions for guilds to join that does not have a joining restriction.
  • Submit: here are listed some suggested Guilds, that the player may opt to submit their application for joining
  • Rankings: allows to see a list of the top 100 Guilds in the game, ordered either in terms of results in Turf War or in terms of total fame
  • Create: a player may opt to start a Guild of their own, and starting to recruit other people

If you have been invited to join a Guild, but do not see it at the top of the list when you enter the Guild building, you can instead search for the guild that invited you to find it, where Join or Submit will be replaced with Accept and Refuse. Alternatively click on it and in the right hand side Rankings and Create will be replaced with Accept and Refuse.

To leave the Guild, click the "Members"-button above the Guild chat. In the list that appears, find your name. To the right of it, there is the Leave-button.

Penalties

When you join a guild, you are unable to place troops in Turf War for the reminder of the ongoing Clash you joined in.

In addition, whenever you join a guild, the game will check if you already joined (the same or different guild) in the previous three days to check if guild-hopping penalties should be applied. This guild-hopping penalty is not cumulative, but will always be counted from the latest entering. The penalty consists of being blocked from placing troops for four days, and being unable to activate guild bonuses for two days after joining.

For whatever reason you leave a guild (being kicked out or by your own accord), all active guild bonuses are immediately lost while all accumulated Contribution Contribution point points are retained.

Guild Levels

Only the Guild Master can upgrade a guild to the next level. Upgrading a guild uses the same currency as unlocking new bonuses - Influence point influence points - which the guild gets from Turf War and when guild members buy gems. Unlocking higher level guild bonuses requires the guild to be at certain level.

Roles

Regardless of how a guild is organised internally, there are two Leader positions defined by title and the tools they have access to.

It's worth noting that no matter the rank assumed, every member will be automatically kicked by the system due to inactivity after 14-15 days without login. If the Guild Master is kicked, the member with most recent activity, regardless of previous rank and time in the guild, will automatically be appointed as new GM.

Guild Master

Every guild has to have a Guild Master (GM), even if this one isn't necessarily the founder or even the de facto leader. In addition to Officers' powers, a GM can also access the Guild settings where he/she for instance can:

  • upgrade the level of a guild.
  • modify guild name, guild icon, guild motto, and guild message.
  • set eventual conditions for recruitment (like minimum might or auto-accepting).

In the Member list, there are some extra options:

  • promote/demote officers.
  • appoint a new GM.

NB: Since there's a fair chance of having to deal with cheaters, Guild Masters may consider to uncheck the "auto-accept" icon and deal with all requests manually. NB2: Guild motto is the text outsiders see next to your guild's name. Guild message is what members see above the Guild chat.

Officers

Depending on the guild level, they can vary in number between 0 and the maximum listed in the table above. Their position is in-between Members and Guild Master, and can:

  • accept new members by approving pending applications.
  • expel existing members, if the situation calls for it. For instance, an unwanted attack on an ally can be cancelled by kicking the offending member during the Clash the troops were placed.
  • unlock/upgrade guild bonuses.
  • place symbols on the map: Crosshair / White flag.
  • Pin messages in Guild Chat.

Member

They are common soldiers. Their tools are limited to chat, send troops and leave the guild. When you join an existing guild you always start from this position.
