Starting from League 10 you can get Legendary Chests. It takes 36h [24h] to unlock a Legendary Chest without using the "Time Loop" Guild bonus. The quantity of the rewards in the Legendary Chest depend on the league that the chest was obtained in. Some quests in Events require you to open Epic Chests in Event shop.
During Events all Legendary Chests will give 100 Event Sparks instead of Soul Dust.
Legendary chests have a 0.3% drop chance for leagues 10-GM.
Speeding up chests
Legendary Chests can be opened immediately by paying gems. As of August 2019, progression is linear and ratio is not affected by "Time Loop" Guild Bonus. There are differences between PC and mobile clients:

Other legendary chests
Other Legendary Chests can be obtained from Mini-Events or Pit with different amounts of souls, soul dust, friend coins, event sparks, and gold. They are not locked before league 10.
