Pets are non-combat units that are equipped in a dedicated slot on the Warlord - hence not taking a place in a player's deck. They can only be assigned to one Warlord at a time, however you can re-assign it through the Warlord interface manually. They were introduced in 31 July 2019 Update and (at least in a first moment) released as paid units only and further upgrades, by using souls gained through a specific set of quests called Pet Hunt, requires Gems to be started.
It's worth noting that their might is added to the might of the Warlord they are equipped on - hence it can be used for level up purposes too.
Like standard units, they are divided in rarity tiers, and the list of available pets is composed of:

Even if only one of them can equipped at time, player can own more than one. Their purpose is to add some supportive skills, which are divided into Active and Passive ones and can be upgraded by levelling them with cards found via Hunt:
- Active skills are picked only from the currently-active Pet;
- Passive skills are picked from all the Pets currently owned by player, and stack with each other.
