This page gives some general hints and guidelines (new) Wiki editors should keep in mind.
Editing existing content
If you are familiar with wiki activities and see something wrong, something that can better explained - you are welcome to edit it. Before making your edits, we kindly ask you to login with an account. If you are not comfortable with editing a wiki, you can post your suggestion on one of the discord channels, in the comment section of the page, or on the walls of one of our most prominent editors.
You can also view the history of the page you are interested in and find someone who has already made many edits to that page.
The Discord channel #wiki-feed is also a good source for tracking changes.
New pages
For articles about topics other than Units you have free hand as to what format you choose. Please keep in mind that some explanatory images, paragraph divisions, and proper sectioning can help make the article easy to read.
Units (including field obstacles as well) articles are bound to a specific format.
Wiki Editors
Some people are marked as Wiki Editors on Discord. Be advised that wiki editors are neither support staff, admins nor moderators. This title simply indicates that they have consistently contributed to the wiki over time and therefore are trusted to make unsupervised edits, as well as review edits/submissions made by other contributors.
If you wish to become a wiki editor, there is no need to apply: keep making consistent, significant contributions and the senior editors will eventually reward you with the title if they think you qualify.
Hosting support
The platform we are using (Miraheze) is hosted by volunteers, who are using their best efforts and their time to make the service running and are offering a very good support.
